一、指导思想

以"英语课程标准"为宗旨，适应新课程改革的需要，面向全体学生，提高学生的人文素养，增强实践能力和创新精神。正确把握英语学科特点，积极倡导合作探究的学习方式。培养学生积极地情感态度和正确的人生价值观，提高学生综合素质为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础。

二、全期教学总目标

学生应有较明确的英语学习动机和积极主动的学习态度。能听懂教师对有关熟悉话题的陈述并能参与讨论。能读供七至八年级学生阅读的简单读物和报纸杂志，克服生词障碍，理解大意。能根据阅读目的运用适当的阅读策略。能与他人合作，解决问题并报告结果，共同完成学习任务。能在学习中互相帮助，克服困难。能合理计划和安排学习任务，积极探索适合自己的学习方法。在学习和日常交际中能注意到中外文化的差异。

三、教材简要分析

《新目标英语》五年级(下册)，全书共有十个模块，另一个复习模块。本教材各单元话题灵活，贴近生活实际。本册书将学习的一些语法知识点有：一般将来时、过去进行时、现在完成时等。同最后提供了一篇阅读文章，用以训练学生的阅读能力，扩大学生的阅读量。

四、学情简要分析

五年级共有学生人数32人，其中男生13人，女生19人。通过两年半的英语学习，大多数学生已能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事。能与教师或同学就熟悉的话题交换信息。能读懂短篇故事，但由于各种因素的影响，学生发展参差不齐。有少数学生因为基础不够好，学习很吃力而自暴自弃，有的因此扰乱课堂次序，这给教学带来不少困难。

五、提高教学质量的可行措施及教改措施

1、面向全体学生，注重素质教育。

2、以学生为主体，尊重学生个体差异。

3、采用活动途径，倡导体验与参与。

4、开发课程资源，拓展学用渠道。

具体来说：

1、认真专研教材和课标，精心备课，认真上好每一堂课。确定每堂课的基础内容，预备内容和拓展内容，满足不同层次学生的不同需求。

2、充分利用现有的现代化教学设备，加强直观教学，提高课堂效率。

3、多与学生沟通，了解学生学习状况和需求，及时改进教学中存在的问题和不足。

4、积极开展丰富多彩的英语活动，提高学生兴趣。如英语演讲比赛、单词听写比赛、朗读比赛、英语手抄报比赛、学唱英文歌曲，课前五分钟活动等。

5、注重个别辅导，在面向全体学生的基础上，培优补差。

一、学情分析

这学期担任五(1)教学任务，五(1)共有学生人数56人，多数学生基础不够好，学习很吃力，学习积极性不高，有的因此扰乱课堂次序，这给教学带来不少困难。大部分学生上课表现还是很不错的。总的来说，课堂上，老师容易掌控学生的学习进度。

二、教材分析

五年级下册学生用书Let’s learn部分的词汇仍然是围绕话题归类出现的。这样有利于学生记忆和开展话题的讨论。与五年级上册相同，本册Let’s learn中的大部分词汇要求学生做到听、说、读、写四会掌握(即加粗的单词)。用来巩固复习词汇的活动主要是结对和小组活动，以及Let’s find out等启发学生主动思考的活动。

五年级下册学生用书的Let’s try也是一项brainstorm式的活动，这一点与五年级上册相同。另外，在这一部分基本上都安排了一个任务型活动，需要学生通过问答、思考或讨论来完成。

Let’s talk部分依旧是一个浓缩了的情景会话，目标句型突出。为给学生提供灵活运用语言的机会，这一部分提供了可供替换的内容。

Read and write部分的教学目标是：读懂对话或短文;完成检测学生理解程度的填充句子练习;听、说、读、写四会掌握两组句子;完成一项综合运用所学语言的任务型语言活动。

Let’s spell部分，三年级上册、四年级上册学生用书中安排呈现了26个字母及例词，使学生初步了解到字母在单词中的发音，四年级下册学生用书进一步呈现了5个元音字母在单词中长短不同的发音，五年级上册学生用书编排了22个常见字母组合的发音，在此基础上，本册又安排了10个常见字母组合的发音，依旧是用绕口令的形式将含有这些字母组合的单词整合成趣味句子。

五年级下册学生用书的阶段复习密切围绕各单元话题展开，将所有需要复习的语言点融进有实际交际意义的活动之中，并增加了考察综合性阅读理解能力的语篇，以增进对语言知识的积累。

三、教学内容目标

1、能听、说、读、写69个短语和单词以及14组句子和6个谚语句子。(包括日常活动、季节、生日、电话用语、动物和野营等几个话题)。要求能在真实语境中正确运用并能读懂简短语篇。

2、能听、说、认读85个单词。

3、能听懂、会唱6首歌曲。

4、能理解6个幽默小故事。

5、能了解6项简单的.语法知识。

四、教学重难点

1、学习一天中不同时间段学习和生活起居情况的表达，尤其是学会使用频度副词谈论日常生活;

2、问答最喜欢哪个季节并陈述原因;

3、学习12个月份的名称、每个月的主要活动和与序数词有关的日期表达法;

4、学习现在进行时，能够简单描述自己或他人正在做什么，询问他人正在做什么，询问动物正在做什么并作答;

5、学习形容词性和名词性物主代词的用法。

6、学习祈使句的用法。

五、教学措施

1、认真钻研教材和课标，精心备课，认真上好每一堂课。确定每堂课的基础内容，预备内容和拓展内容，满足不同层次学生的不同需求。

2、尽可能使用多种方式教学，激发学生的课堂兴趣。

3、及时与学生沟通，及时改进教学中存在的问题和不足

4、注重个别辅导，在面向全体学生的基础上，培优补差。

5、重视语音的训练，进一步复习巩固音标。

6、扎实训练四会句型，切实掌握语言材料。

7、在课堂上多开展一些有趣活动、游戏。让学生在活动中学习英语，在生活中学习英语

This lesson is about Module 7 Unit 1 "This dog can help him." of New Standard English, Book 9. This lesson is for the students of Grade Five.

教学目标：

1、Knowledge aims:

a. To enable students to master and use these new words : blind , special.

b. To enable students to master the usage of "can" .

c. To enable students to use the target sentences correctly : This dog can help him . Can Fifi help the blind people ? No , he can’t . He only wants to play .

2、Ability aims:

a. Talking about abilities with "can" , "can’t " and know the objective case.

b. To improve students’ language ability.

3、Emotion aims:

a. To encourage students to cooperate with the others , help each other and learn from each other.

1、Listen to the text and try to answer the questions:

2、Show Ss by PPT：Look at this dog. Is this dog lovely? It’s a pet dog. Its name is Fifi. Look at the other one.

3、Show Ss a picture of blind people by PPT and ask "What’s the matter with this man ?"Learn blind

2，用课件展示搜救犬、缉毒犬、警犬等多种犬类，并显示英文。让学生在知晓狗是人类的朋友的基础上展示"The dogs are our friends. We love dogs. We love animals."

1. Listen to the tape for 5 times .

2. Try to find other helpful animals and try to describe them.
