Inrecentyearstheproblemswhicharecausedbytheinequalityofeducationopportunityhaveattractedthepublic'sattention.Forinstance,thebackwardteachingfacilitiesanddilapidatedschoolbuildingsinruralareasareinsharpcontrasttothoseadvancedfacilitiesandwell-equippedclassroomsinurbanareas,studentsfrompoorfamiliescannotgotouniversitiesbecauseofthehightuition.
Thereareseveralfactorswhichcontributelotheseproblems.First,thedistributionofresourcesisunbalancedbetweenruralandurbanschools.Second,educationalloansforpoorstudentsarefarfromenough.Third,theinequalityinsomeschools'admissionpoliciesalsoturnsmanystudentsaway.Theeducationinequalitycanresultinmanybadimpacts.Ononehand,itcanaffectpeople’sfutureemployment.Ontheotherhand，itistherootofmanysocialproblems.
Tochangethissituation,Ithink,weshouldtakethefollowingmeasures.Firstly,thegovernment'sspendingoneducationshouldbeincreasedandtheallocationofpublicresourcesgivesprioritytoruralandweakurbanschools.Secondly,theimplementationofthegovernmentfinancialaidsystemforstudentsshouldbeaccelerated.Thirdly,thegovernmentshouldspeedupeducationreformstoensureeveryonehasequalaccesstoschools.
