一、教材分析：
本课是结合人教版高中英语教材选修5中有关过去分词的语法内容，进行过去分词的学习，教学中将语法知识的传授和语言基本技能的学习结合到一起，注重复习语法与语言的运用。采用任务型教学法和小组合作探究学习法，从而扩大课堂的语言输入量及学生的语言输出量。
二、学情分析：
在高一英语学习基础上，学生已经掌握基本的语言结构和一定程度的听说读写能力。在复习的过程中，结合学生原有的知识掌握水平，巩固基础强化正确使用语法知识，提高学生运用语言的深度和难度.但大部分学生的基础知识仍然较为薄弱，运用英语进行交际活动的能力较差，主动学习的动力不够，然而他们学习比较认真，渴求知欲旺盛，思维比较活跃。部分学生的基础较好，能主动配合老师。只有设置使他们感兴趣的活动，因材施教，才能让他们投入到课堂活动中来。
三、教学目标:
1.知识目标:
引导学生掌握过去分词在真实的生活语境中的使用。培养学生通读，分析，理解，综合的能力，教会学生体察语境，结合上下文，符和逻辑推理和合理的想象，结合语法和题干中的语境解决问题。在运用语言过程中培养学生的观察力、分析力、想象力和自学能力，提高思维能力和运用英语的综合能力。
2.能力目标：
利用多媒体手段营造积极和谐教学氛围，使学生进入情景之中，充分调动学生的思维活动和情感体验，规范学生运用英语知识准确表达的能力，同时，发展学生综合语言运用的能力，分析问题和解决问题的能力，培养学生自主学习。
3.德育目标：
用含过去分词的句子结构表达思想感情。

五、教学难点:

六、教学策略:
通过小组讨论、小组竞赛等具体形式，创设有利于高中生自己自我认识、自我反省、自我调节的情境，利用他们自身较高的自我意识水平对自己的学习进行调节、监控。因此，本课采用教学方法---任务型教学法。以任务为中心，任务的设计焦点是解决某一具体的贴近学生生活的问题。教师要从学生"学"的角度来设计教学活动，使学生的学习活动具有明确的目标。在的各种"任务"中，学生能够不断地获得知识并得出结论。
七、学习策略:
本课将各种活动设计成小组活动并开展小组竞赛和填写课堂自我评价表等非测试性评价手段，帮助学生养成自主学习与合作学习的能力，培养创新意识和实践能力，以及具备科学的价值观。

⑴Warming up by listing
Good morning, class. We have been learning English for several years. But how many English-speaking countries are there in the world? Now let’s make a list of them on the blackboard.

●What is Standard English?
Standard English is the form of English that most people in Britain use, and that is not limited to one area or group of people.
●What is a dialect?
A dialect is a variety of a language spoken only in one area, in which words, or grammar are slightly different from other forms of the same language.
●Do we have standard Chinese? What is it?
In China there’re so many dialects that the government encourages the whole nation to speak Putonghua, which is regarded as standard Chinese.
⑶Warming up by giving reasons
Unit 2 English around the world is what we are going to learn today. We are all learning English now because English is so popular in the world. But do you know why it is so? How many reasons could you giving for the spread of English around the world?
__ English is one of the official languages of the Olympic Games and the United Nations.
__ English dominates international websites and provides nearly all of the new computer terminology.
__ Tourism and trade from Western Europe and North America has contributed to the spread of English.
__ Satellite TV, radio programs like Joy FM, CDs and, of course, Hollywood films all broadcast English into China. Also, a number of Chinese films include English subtitles.
2.Pre-reading
We are learning English here. But why are we learning it? Could you suggest to the class as many reasons as you can think of, why people in the world learn English?
for work, as a hobby, to learn about other people, to travel, to read literature in the original, to read research papers, to meet foreigners, to surf the Internet, to pass exams, etc.

3. Skimming the text for general ideas
Now we go to page 9 to skim the text for the main idea of each paragraph.

新的学期又开始了。高一下期是学生逐渐认识和适应高中外语学习的关键时期，我们计划在上学期的基础上，继续拓宽学生的知识面，全面培养听、说、读、写能力，特别是理解、分析和阅读的能力，让学生尽快适应高中学习。为切实有效的做好英语教学工作，顺利完成本学期的教学任务，使学生达到最佳的学习效果，特制定新学期英语教学工作如下：
一、指导思想
以学校工作计划为指导思想，全面贯彻落实新课程改革和素质教育的精神，全组成员将积极主动地开展教学研究工作，落实学科教学常规，营造良好的教研氛围，不断改革课堂教学，探究科学有效的教学形式。针对我校高一新生普遍英语底子差，基础薄的实际，打算在高一起始阶段的英语教学中，本着低起点，爬坡走，抓习惯的原则，长期不懈地抓好学生的学习英语的的兴趣和习惯养成。
二、学情分析
今年我校高一级共有六个班，学生整体英语水平较差,并且分数层次多，普遍英语底子差，基础薄。我担任1班跟5班的教学工作，这两个班是学校的重点班，基础相对会好一点，但是总体上看，学生的成绩都是参差不齐的。这就需要适当的分层教学。
三、教材分析
本学期完成英语必修（3）和必修（4）两个模块。共10个单元内容。
具体安排：对于10个单元，每一单元用10课时，课本的学习可以这样进行：
1、warmingup和vocabulary2课时；
2、reading和languagepoints4课时
3、grammar3课时；
4、单元检测练习1课时
四、具体工作措施
高中学段和初中学段在教学对象、教学内容、教学要求、教学方式和学习方式方面均存在着一定的差异。因此，帮助高中学生了解这些差异，引导他们尽快适应高中的学习与生活，是摆在新学期高一教师面前的迫在眉睫的任务。认真研究新课程标准，认真研究新教材，在集体备课的基础上认真备课、上课，认真进行自习辅导和批改作业。单词一直是学生的难点、薄弱点，直接影响学生综合能力的提高，在教学中要重视词汇教学，狠抓单词的记忆与巩固以及对词汇的意义与用法的掌握。使学生掌握科学的单词记忆方法和养成勤查词典的习惯。为了提高学生的听力水平，从高一就开始就对学生进行听力训练。除了利用课堂上的时间外，还要坚持每周利用晚修时间给学生集体放听力。阅读理解能力的培养是高中教学的重点，也是高考的重头戏。在单元教学中专门抽出一节课作为阅读课，并且有计划的指导学生掌握科学的阅读方法。

高亿英语既注重基础知识的考查，又强调能力的灵活运用。为了适应这一趋势，提高高一英语的教学质量，我在高一英语教学中将常抓基础知识，有梯度地拓宽词汇，提高课堂效率，从而努力提高学生学习的自觉性、主动性与积极性，通过师生互动，更进一步提高英语成绩。
学生状况分析：
从学生上学期期末考试情况来看，主要存在以下三方面问题：
①在思想上、态度上放松或放弃的现象有所表露，表现在考试不做主观题尤其是不写作文的学生为数不少。
②基础知识不够扎实，灵活运用语言的技能相对薄弱。
③运用能力不够强实。学生的阅读能力、理解能力、分析能力、判断能力、应变能力等均不能较好地适应考查要求。
教育教学指导思想
树立新观念，继续钻研新大纲，探索教材教法。进一步明确任务性教学和其他教学理论相结合，探索培养学生全面语言能力的路子。
教学重心：
如何改进我们目前的英语课堂教学，提高课堂教学质量，还需要我们认真研究。继续抓学习习惯，强调基础知识的过关，在落实巩固基础知识的前提下来进一步加强其它能力的培养和训练，发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。进一步激发学生英语学习的积极性和自信心，提高教学质量。语言学习的关键在于语言知识的积累，只有通过学习者亲身的体验和摸索，才能学会并掌握语言知识，从而达到在交际中灵活使用语言的目的。
教学工作
本期教学知识覆盖面和词汇量仍然大，所以，首先要加强基础知识的训练，在上好教本的同时，要特别考虑拓展学科的课外知识，人文知识，加强课外阅读的补充和指导，具体方法如下：
1)抓好单元教学，突出单元教学重点。认真学习任务性教学理论，贯穿于教学实践中。把握好各个环节如：
并注意和其他教学理论相结合，让学生不仅学习知识，而且得到能力的培养。
2)增强教改意识。要整体提高学生的思想认识和文化品味。要将"教法指导"转为"学法指导"，重视指导学生思维方法的学习，要引导并鼓励学生的创新意识。相对淡化知识系统，强调运用语言的能力和语感能力的培养，重视积累，感悟和熏陶。新教材中的"口语交际"要让学生充分活动，还要采用多种形式拓展学生的英语实践活动，努力提高学生学习英语的兴趣。
3)课内课外阅读..
a.教师指导阅读，教师除了课文中阅读材料，还要指导学生的课外阅读，备课时要对其内容，重难点，方式方法等都要作通盘考虑。另外还要注意"教本"和"课外阅读"的相关延伸，即"课外阅读"和"教本"具体课文的相关衔接。同时，教师还要对学生进行阅读策略方面的指导。
b.学生单元小结1.积累词语，对课文涉及的重要词语，要总结、查字典解释重点记忆。2.阅读报刊文章写点评；3.每单元写一百字左右与课文内容相关的作文。
c.课堂交流，课堂内除了这些活动，还有课外的teamwork，dutyreport，这些材料都以书面形式和口头形式呈现，最后由教师收集作资料保存。
4）写作
a.根据教材的编写体例，把教本上的写作内容与学生练笔结合。
b.本期拟作作文每单元1次。
c.作文批改要讲实效，要调动学生参与，可先由学生自评或互评，再由老师点评，对其得失进行分析总结，并提倡学生写后记或重作，以期不断提高写作能力。d.对优秀的作文可进行交流。
3．充分利用电脑，投影仪，磁带，录像，影碟机等电教手段，适当的时候使用多媒体教室，使英语课堂更加形象，生动活泼。
