Inconclusion,myideaisthatjustasthereisnodistinctionbetweenhighcultureandlowculture,soitisinappropriatetosaypopmusicbelongstothe“lower”peoplewhereassymphoniesinahigher,loftierformofmusic.Afterall,therearemanybadly-composedsymphonies.Andwecan’texpecteverypieceofpopmusictobeexcellent.Popmusicreflectsthethoughtsandinterestsofacertainagegroupofageneration.Itistheproductofacertainage,butitalsohassomethinguniversal,somethingthatbelongstoallhumanbeings,thatunderliesitsgreatsuccessamongpeople.Inthissenseitisratherfoolishforsomepeopleofmediatoshowgreatconcernsimplybecausemanypeoplepreferpopmusic.Anywaypopmusichasbecomeanindispensablepartofthehumanfamily.
