从个位起，每隔3位加个“，”然后还要熟记以下5个基本“单位”词：

百=hundred

千=thousand

万=million

十亿=billion

万亿=trillion

然后是整数：

300=threehundred

第一个“，”前面的数字读成thousand。

1,000=onethousand

20,000=twentythousand(2万=20个千)

300,000=threehundredthousand(30万=300个千)

第二个“，”前面的数字读成million。

1,000,000=onemillion

20,000,000=twentymillion(2千万=20个百万)

300,000,000=threehundredmillion(3个亿=300个百万)

第三个“，”前面的数字读成billion。

1,000,000,000=onebillion

第四个“，”前面的数字读成trillion。

1,000,000,000,000=onetrillion

说到具体数字时，hundred，thousand，million，billion，trillion都用单数，例如200=twohundred，3000=threethousand，400,000=fourmillion，12.12亿正确的英文译法是1.212billion。

不是具体数字时，hundred，thousand，million，billion，trillion都用复数，例如几百=hundredsof，这两条别问为什么，记住!

111=onehundredandeleven，123=onehundredandtwenty-three。数数时只有hundred后面加and，例如1234=onethousand,twohundredandthirty-four，123,456,789=onehundredandtwenty-threemillion,fourhundredandfifty-sixthousand,sevenhundredandeighty-nine中，只有hundred后加and。

时间

1.整点，用基数词+(o’clock)。例如：6:00读作sixo’clock或six

2.几点过几分，在分钟后，小时前加past(分钟≦30)。例如：6:05读作fivepastsix，6:30读作halfpastsix，6:15读作aquarterpastsix。

3.几点差几分，在分钟后，小时前加to(分钟≧30)。例如：6:50读作tentoseven，6:45读作aquartertoseven

4.日常生活中，常直接读出小时、分钟的具体数字表示时间。例如：6:31读作sixthirty-one，16:16读作sixteensixteen。

世纪

可以用the+序数词+世纪century表示，例如thetwenty(20th)century表示20世纪;也可用the+百位进数加s表示，百位上的整数表示的世纪要比其自身多一个世纪，例如the1900s表示20世纪。

年代

定冠词及基数词表示的世纪加十位整数的复数形式表示年代。例如：inthe2020s(inthetwentiesofthetwenty-firstcentury或inthetwentytwenties)在二十一世纪二十年代。

年份

一般写为阿拉伯数字，读时可以以hundred为单位，例如1802年读作eighteenhundredandtwo，1812年读作eighteenhundredandtwelve;也可以把世纪和年代单位上的数字分别读出来，如1802年可读作eighteenotwo，1812年读作eighteentwelve。

小数

用基数表示，以小数点(读作point)为界，左边是整数，数字合起来读，右边是小数，数字分开读，0读作zero或0[əu]。整数为零时，可以省略不读。例如：0.5读作zeropointfive或pointfive，12.12读作twelvepointonetwo，25.03读作twenty-fivepointothree。
