Ashumanbeings,weareeagertowinmeritsforourselves.Itis,however,onlypatienceaswellasendurancethatcanhelpustosucceedinperforminggreatdeeds.InthecaseofSiMarian,withoutthosebrilliantqualitiesmentionedabove,hecouldneverattainsuchgreatachievements.Difficultiesareunavoidable,unlesswedonotengageinanythingatall.Intheend,itispatienceandendurancethatcounts.
Somepeoplewouldgiveuphalfwayinthefaceofwhatseemstobeinsurmountable.Menofsuchatypecanhardlyexpecttosucceed.Wemusttakeastepbystepapproachtoaccomplisheverythinguntilwegetthefinalresult.Thereasonisverysimple:ifoneattemptstoclimbamountain,howeverhighhereaches,hehasfailedifhedoesnotreachthetop.
