Twopossiblereasonsareasfollows.Firstly,environmentalprotectionbenefitspeople’shealth.Intermsofincreasingnumberoftrashesaroundus,suchaswhiteplasticbags,one-offcupsandchopsticks,itissensibleofdisposingofthemreasonably.Soweoughttousecleantechnology,renewableandrecyclablematerials.Secondly,environmentalprotectioniscrucialtoourcountry,andeventotheworld.LotsofcountriesattachedmoreattentiontoembracetheOlympicspirits—“higher,faster,andstronger”.
Inconclusion,ascollegestudentsandtheyounggeneration,weshouldtryourbesttoadvocate“GreenOlympics”.The2008OlympicGameswillbeagreenanduniqueOlympics.
众所周知，奥运会是一场拥有历史的运动会。“绿色奥运”的2008年北京奥运会的三大主题之一。人们现在的生活充斥着汽车废气、色情片、污水和其他类似的东西。面对这种现象，我们应该提倡“绿色奥运”，我也完全赞成这一做法。
主要原因有两个。第一，环境保护对人们的健康有益。对于我们身边增长的垃圾，例如白色塑料袋和一次性杯子筷子等，合理丢弃它们是重要的。所以我们需要使用干净的科技手段和可更新可循环利用的材料。第二，环境保护对我们国家，甚至对全世界来说都至关重要。很多国家开始越来越关注奥运精神——更快、更高、更强。
总而言之，作为大学生和新一代，我们应该尽己所能倡导“绿色奥运”。2008年奥园会将会成为一届绿色而独特的奥运会。
